Welcome to Middle School Science
Welcome to MCS Middle School Science! What makes me different from other middle school science teachers: I use a spiraling curriculum that allows opportunities to revisit and deepen understandings of previous science content. All three grades study the big three Science Disciplines (Earth, Life, Physical) each year and this gives them opportunities to increase both the breadth and depth of what they are learning.
Welcome Mrs. Harlan- Spring Intern!Hello! My name is Sierra Harlan, and I will be student teaching with Paul this semester. I am a senior at the University of Idaho, majoring in Secondary Education, with emphasis in Earth science, history, and English as a second language. I have been a part of the University of Idaho's marching band and basketball band for the past 4 years, playing the trumpet, and that is where I met my husband. Together, we have a snake and enjoy walks around the neighborhoods of Moscow! I am incredibly excited for the opportunity to learn alongside your students and to observe the teaching practices that help your students succeed. I look forward to seeing your student's science knowledge grow and watch them become scientists in the making!
