Moscow Charter School Marimba Club

The Moscow Charter School Marimba Club is composed of students in grades 3-10 from Moscow Charter School, Moscow Middle School and Moscow High School, many of whom have been playing since the club began in 2010. Together kids of different skill levels play very lively and rhythmic music inspired by Zimbabwe on our marimbas, which are percussion instruments consisting of a set of wooden bars struck with rubber mallets to produce musical tones. The sound is amplified by resonators or pipes suspended underneath. To share our love for the Zimbabwe inspired music we conduct marimba workshops in several Latah County Schools and give concerts at a variety of events both locally and out of state (e.g. Zimfest in Oregon, Farmers Market, Rendezvous for Kids, Renaissance Fair).
More information about this club will be coming soon!
Sewing Club

As of now, there will not be a sewing club for the 21-22 school year. We will notify MCS families if this changes!
