All Day at McConnell Mansion and Centennial Annex!!
Thank you to Ms. Katelynn Anderson, Museum Curator, and Ms. Denise Thomson, Docent, who enthralled the kids with so much information and how historical societies are important and relevant to everyone.
The kids were learning about primary and secondary sources pictures and clothing, tools, and waffle iron!
Plus, they had a house item scavenger hunt, etchings of door hinges, seeing human hair art, a bear coat, and how many people were boarders and shared this big old house.
The kids built up a lot of academic stamina by staying focused and working hard taking notes! Good growth!
