Building Consensus Using A Scientific Process to Solve a Social Problem

Lilianna shows the idea her tablemembers agreed upon after the kids did some brainstorming to figure out a very important argument about Snow Play.

This was a very serious afternoon. Notice the notetaking and attention.
It is important to understand that addressing one part of a problem is essential and not to get confused by other details or data.

The kids finally had a chance to vote and came up with the 2 ideas of the 8 that they would utilize as a class to handle the issues with each other outside during all recess snow play--- building and destroying, sharing, and asking permission.

They did a good job of going through each step and learned that the process can be applied to other situations.
