Great Learning at Appaloosa Horse Museum

The giant headdress pictured is from a member that did good deeds for the members of the tribe. Each feather is evidence of taking care of the needs of the people. The kids loved knowing this information because the stereotype of a headdress is with war. In this picture, the kids are taking notes of cultural artifacts and making sketches. Ms. Aston and Executive Director Crytal White taught about so much! Plus the kids got to meet the Appaloosa Horse, Skywalker.
