Elementary Keyboarding

Welcome to Keyboarding & Robotics!

I am excited to have your students expand their technical skills this year in keyboarding and robotics. They will be working the first and third quarter on typing.com, a program that introduces typing skills, and gets progressively more complex as they work through the lessons. Students are welcome to login to the program, and practice their typing skills, at home.

The second and fourth quarters, students will be introduced to basic coding using Dot and Dash robots. An easy to use app allows students to string together commands and see how their robots respond. Students will work in teams to work through these early coding skills, and solve challenges presented to the class.
