Hello MCS Families,
Our school has been affected with illness since the return from Thanksgiving break. This week we are averaging in the mid 20 to 30 percent in absences for both our student and staff population. Due to the high percentage, we will be closing tomorrow, December 9th. This will allow for everyone to heal up over a long weekend, as well as a deep cleaning of the school by our custodial staff on Friday.
As a reminder your child must be fever free for 24 hours prior to returning to school without the aid of medication. We have had many kids come back from being sick earlier than they should. I appreciate your understanding and look forward to seeing everyone back healthy on Monday.
