This was the first day of the giving and receiving! It was so fun to see them enjoy themselves and then share what they had gotten. We talked about the process of how they had learned about the idea and then all the talking and planning of how to do this type of class activity. 

 

It is in this season that we remember important things and people.

 

Tomorrow, the kids will get to do Day 2 of the HoHiHa Exchange. And, after they open their presents, everyone will get to guess. It is really so much fun because they will talk with the person that they gave to, and to the person they received from, and then there will be lots more sharing! This is a time of good storytelling and classroom connections are made.
