MCS Expansion-Now Accepting Bids for a General Contractor


Sealed bids will be received until 4:00 PM Local Time Wednesday May 22, 2019, for the construction of a new 7,860 square foot Middle School.

A non-mandatory pre bid conference is scheduled for Tuesday, April 16th at 3:30 PM Local standard time at 1723 F Street, Moscow, ID 83843.  Prospective subcontractors are invited and encouraged to attend.  The specific Bid Packages, date, and name of firm submitting must appear on the outside of all bids.  Any firm failing to submit its proposal in accordance with the procedures set forth in the instructions to bidders will be considered non-responsive. Also, any bid received by fax, email, or phoned in will be considered non-responsive.

MCS Expansion CM/GC RFQ-Closed


Moscow Charter School is seeking responses from individuals or entities that are licensed as Public Works Construction Managers under Idaho Code § 54-4501 et seq., and in good standing, to provide their qualifications to perform certain Construction Manager Representative (“CMR Services”) or Construction Manager/General Contractor (“CM/GC Services”) as determined by the Moscow Charter School.  The scope of work will be to oversee construction of a New Middle School.  This request for qualifications is made in conformance with Idaho Code § 67-2320.

MCS Expansion RFP-Closed

The Moscow Charter School is seeking Proposals for the construction of a four classroom structure to house our middle school students and a reconfiguration of our property to improve traffic flow.

Moscow Charter School desires to retain a professional architectural firm with experience in academic projects to provide design services including but not limited to planning, budgeting, permit expediting, delivery strategy, bidding, contracting, furniture fixtures and equipment procurement, closeout, and post occupancy surveys.

The building, demolition, and parking lot renovation are intended to be completed prior to August 2019 to ensure facilities are available for use in the 2019-2020 school year, with ample time to set up classrooms for the year.  Construction may begin prior to completion of the 2018-2019 academic year, providing existing facilities remain available for use by students, with a clear walkway around construction activity for use by children.
