Parent Action Team
Becoming a "lifelong learner" is something I believe in and want my children to become. One of the core philosophies of the Moscow Charter School is to instill a love of learning by engaging students on many levels. I've seen this in action as my children have participated in the year-long theme as well as in the classroom.
MCS is a unique school that is small by choice. I appreciate the intimate, family-like atmosphere. It allows parents like me to roll up their sleeves and participate. I've enjoyed weeding with my children on landscaping day just as much as the time I spend in the classroom reading with a child. The PAT offers so many opportunities to volunteer at MCS. After serving as president for two years, I'm happy to continue my involvement on the PAT as the treasurer.
