Yesterday in science the 5th grade class ended our human body study by making a little scrapbook with all the body systems in it. We had multiple body systems such as skeletal, respiratory, digestive, nervous, muscular, and circulatory. We had the choice of using a study guide that showed what the system looked like inside the body so we could draw the system in color. The other option was to get an app on the chromebook called anatomic. I personally thought the anatomic app was a lot better than the study guide. The nervous system was by far the hardest because it was every where in the body. They were just like red and blue squiggly lines going everywhere!!!
We also got our individual grades for our muscle and bone disease presentation. Mr.Collins said we did really well on these. That was one of my favorite things we did in science. I did mine on rheumatoid arthritis which is an autoimmune disease which means your own immune system attacks your body.
