Teacher In-service days
Teachers worked on STEAM format for next year. We decided to change the block schedule by starting the day with Math and critical thinking with Language Arts coming after recess.
We also decided on
as the underlying theme for next year. We will have the students come up with the slogan and a Logo. We are also planning an end of the year Science day where the classes will move around and see experiments using water in the various classrooms.
In addition each teacher is designing a unit that incorporates Science and Language Arts. We are ordering trade books to complement these themes.
