Announcing “MCS Academy Days”
-
New program of school time (9am-3pm) workshops on certain no-school days (generally the first day of 4-day weekends for teacher workdays and holidays)
-
open to all local children grades K-6, if there is sufficient enrollment we will separate into 2 groups: K-3 and 4-6
-
MCS students pay $20, non-MCS students pay $30
-
Children will bring their own sack lunches and have regularly scheduled recesses.
-
Each Academy will be coordinated by a volunteer (parent, staff, faculty or community member) who adopts that theme, designs topics, recruits volunteer faculty and sets maximum enrollment for that event.
