And the winners are:
1. Brenda McLean - Miranda Anderson's mom. Miranda's daughter is in the 2nd grade class. She chose Howard Hughes as she needs appliances for a cabin they are building.

2. Merideth Payton - a UofI student employed at One World Cafe. She chose Tri-State and was shocked and thrilled to win.

3. Debra Saul - Mother of a 6th grader at MCS; in discussion with her husband who she says is a "bike guy" and therefore will probably be very happy with Paradise Creek Bicycles rather than the cash option.

Participation:
-43 families and/or teachers sold tickets
-6 of our board members bought/sold tickets
-7 families sold 30 or more tickets (Those students each received gift certificates to One World Café’ and Baskin Robbins for their hard work!)
-Top 3 selling families will receive a slumber party at the school hosted by Peggy. These families sold 213 of the tickets (40, 51 and 122 tickets)
-Since the school reached their goal of selling 750 tickets, Principal Brodien came to school in her pajamas and led the students in a song and dance (the kids loved this!).

How will the money be used?
-As reported at the beginning of our fundraising initiative, proceeds from the raffle sales will be put towards the playground enrichment project (which includes the installation of our blacktop and basketball hoops) suggested by parents in our 2008-09 PAT survey.
