    Monday - February, 8th

Ms. Kintner's 2nd grade class was in charge of presenting at this weeks Monday Morning Meeting.

Zeynep shared her pioneer pictures.  She also shared the virtues of helpfulness to others and courage that the pioneer women showed as they cared for their families.

Rheanna shared about a pioneer girl named Cadde Woodlawn and shared a poster of pictures displaying life in the 1800's.  She saw the virtues of courage, respect, and an adventurous spirit in Caddie's life.

Oakley shared a presentation of pictures that told the grown-up story of Caddie Woodlawn after she moved to Moscow, Idaho.  Her doctor husband, Dr. Watkins, was shot and killed.  later, she raised Carol Ryrie Brink who became an author and wrote Caddie Woodlawn.  The virtue of assertiveness and standing up for what is right were shared in Oakley's report.

Thank you second grade for sharing these wonderful projects!
