Welcome to Moscow Charter Middle School Math!
Hello! My name is Ms. Mata and I am the Middle School Math, PE, and Robotics Team Teacher. 2023-2024 will be my sixth year teaching at Moscow Charter School. Before I started teaching here, I was a practicum student through the University of Idaho. I then became a substitute teacher during my senior year of college, and then again after my teaching internship. I completed my teaching internship in Troy, Idaho in the third-grade classroom with Moreesa Sandquist.

tion at the University of Idaho and am certified to teach all subjects K-8th grade. I'm also endorsed in English Language Arts 6th-9th grade. I completed my student-teaching internship at Troy Elementary School. While at Troy Elementary, I was involved in the after-school tutoring program for grades K-12th.

Being from Idaho I absolutely love being outdoors. McCall is my favorite place on Earth. I spend a lot of time in the Summer and Winter there. On the weekends and in the Summer I'm out riding my bike, hammocking, having picnics in the park, and hanging out at the dog park with my 2-year-old doggo Sam. Most of my family is down in Boise with our pets dog (Tony), 3 cats (Cocoa, Bear, and Freya), and our 9 year-old-chicken (Red). As much as I love animals I'd have to say that my siblings are my most favorite people in the world (besides my students of course). I have a 23-year-old brother (Dre') who is finishing up his last year at U of I in Electrical Engineering. He currently has an internship with SEL and is a combat medic and soon-to-be Officer and helicopter pilot in the Idaho National Guard. I also have two younger sisters (16 & 17-year-old) Isabella and Ande.
