Dear Families:

I think the second graders performed fabulously on Wednesday and Thursday!  Did you know that Amelia Black wrote the rap about the water cycle and Colin Wessels and Amelia Black collaborated on writing the parts for the scientists?  We have a very talented second grade class.  I feel very privileged to be their teacher.

This week we will take a couple of end of the year tests in reading and math.  We continue to learn more about fractions.

I hope that reading with your child has become a habit that will carry over into the summer months.  What a benefit for your child if they continue reading throughout the summer with a bit of help and encouragement from their parents!
